Global Marketing Manager

Alex joined Fundsquire UK in early 2019 as a Communication & Lending Manager and is now our Global Marketing Manager. She has a background in global business and government funding consulting and has worked in both the construction and technology sectors. She’s spent the last three years immersed in the world of London Tech, including as a team lead and PM capacity at a global tech company, Freelancer.com. Alex loves all things tech and is passionate about helping companies grow, develop amazing innovations, and give us a glimpse at the future.

Working at the intersection of technology and government funding has allowed Alex to understand the UK’s tech startup and scaleup ecosystem and what companies in this arena need most. Unsurprisingly, these needs often have to do with getting reliable funding without an infinity of strings attached and burdensome terms. That’s why Fundsquire was a great match and a natural next step for her.

Alex holds a Bsc. from the Vienna University of Economics and Business in Economics and a CEMS master’s degree in International Management from ESADE/WU.

When she’s not immersed in the important work of helping companies grow, you can find her hiking, skiing, inline skating, bird watching (yep), or writing for her own blog or other outlets (including our very own Fundsquire blog)
